Outdoor Soccer (Tuesdays) - Summer 2010 Schedule and Standings
 

Weather Policy: Games will be played in the rain (unless the Town closes fields or they are covered in puddles of water), but in thunder AND lightning the game will be postponed. During the storm all players must leave the playing area and seek shelter in a car or building. Decisions to cancel a game will be made on the field and all players must wait at least 15 minutes since weather changes frequently; the decision will be made by the players if no convener is present. If the weather clears and the opposing team is not available it will be considered a forfeit with a score of -1. If the weather does not clear up and at least half of the game has been completed, the score will count as is.

A team designate must email final score to info@urbansports.ca with 3 days.

*GF - Goals scored by the team *GA - Goals scored against the team. *+/- Difference between goals scored by the team and goals scored against the team (used to break possible ties of points at end of season). For games in which a team won due to forfeit, the game score will be 1-0 for the team that won. Please report any errors to info@urbansports.ca.

PLAYOFF FORMAT

Augt. 31st Games:

Playoffs will consist of two 30 min halves with a short break. The 8:30 game must finish by 9:30 (tie breaking procedures to follow after 9:30). The 9:45 game must end at 10:45 (tie breaking procedures to follow after 9:45).Playoff games with a tie will be broken as follows:
i) 10-minute overtime period, first goal to scores wins.
ii) Shoot-out if above does not result in a winner: 3 players from each team get to take a penalty shot. One of the shooters from each team must be female. After 3 rounds, the team with the most goals wins. If tied, each team alternates shooters until tie is broken per pair of shooters.

September 7th and 14th Games:

There will be 2-35 mintue halves. Tie breaking procedures same as above.
