Come out and play some recreational floor hockey in a great facility, which is about the size of a double gym. We play a non-contact game that is a great way to get exercise in a team-oriented atmosphere. USC supplies plastic DOM 70 sticks. Only basic equipment such as mouth guards and eye protection are allowed in order to keep the game at a recreational level.
Fall Season: Registration begins online mid-August. Season is 14 weeks from the week of September 15 until the week of December 15.
Winter Season: Registration begins online early December. Season is about 17 weeks from early January to mid-May.
Cost: Cost is about $60/team/week or $6.75/individual/week. Fall 2010 season is $850/team or $95/individual for 14 weeks.
When: Wednesday night between 7 pm and 10 pm for fall and winter league play. Games are 55 minutes.
Level: All one. 5 on 5 including the goalie with one female player. We recommend teams of 9-12 players.
Summer pick-up: Pick-up shinny games for those who couldn't get enough of hockey during the regular season. Wednesday nights from May 26 to August 25 for 2 hours between 8 and 10pm. Cost for summer is $80 per individual. Advance registration is required in order to play.
Exhibition Nights: For those of you who just want to try floor hockey, here is your chance. Exhibition nights will be held on June 2, July 7 and August 18. Cost is $10 per player
Location: Burlington at the Sherwood Forest Centre on Fairview east of Appleby Line.

After the Game: Head out to QB Sports Pub at Appleby and Fairview. Ask them about up-to-date team specials. Typically, teams of 8 or more should receive a free pizza and 2 pounds of wings. All teams should be able to submit receipts to receive 13% back at end of season (write team name on back and drop it in box at front). To collect the 13% back at end-of-season, they should be notified at least a week in advance. Ask your waitress for details.
