Co-ed Beach Volleyball (Wednesdays) - Summer 2010 Schedule and Standings
 

The team captain of the winning team must complete the Score Report Card and provide it to the convener, Amanda, at the end of the game. MANY SCORES ARE MISSING AS THEY HAVE NOT BEEN REPORTED, PLEASE SEND THEM TO US ASAP. Thanks

NEWS & NOTES:

• NOTE THAT RANKINGS ARE NOT JUST DONE BY MATCH POINTS BUT ARE ASSIGNED BASED ON THE RESULTS OF USC's LADDER SYSTEM.
• A team must have 2 of each gender or they will forfeit. Teams may agree otherwise, but decision must be made at beginning of match with convner present.
• In order to promote more competitive games, we use a "Ladder System". This allows better teams to rise in the standing and play against similarly ranked teams, making the games more interesting.

Weather Policy: Games will be played in the rain (unless the Town closes the courts or they are covered in puddles of water), but in thunder AND lightning the game will be postponed. During the storm all players must leave the playing area and seek shelter in a car or building. Decisions to cancel a game will be made on the court and all players must wait at least 15 minutes since weather changes frequently; the decision will be made by the players if no convener is present. If the weather clears and the opposing team is not available it will be considered a forfeit with a score of -1. If the weather does not clear up and at least half of the game has been completed, the score will count as is.
